Itinerary tour of Thailand free travel guide, located at the Emerald Buddha Temple in the northeast corner of the Grand Palace in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. The temple was built in 1782 and is an integral part of the Grand Palace. Huguo Temple is the most noble temple of all temples in Thailand. The Jade Buddha occupies a quarter of the area of the Grand Palace. It is the most famous Buddhist temple in Thailand. At the same time, it is the only Buddhist temple in Thailand where monks live.

The main building of the Jade Buddha Temple is that the shrine in the middle of the temple enshrines a 66 cm high and 48 cm wide Jade Buddha. The Buddha statue is placed on an 11-meter-high gold-cast Buddha platform. The Jade Buddha wore a gold garment of priceless gold. The jade Buddha is exquisite and crystal clear, and it is the most sacred Buddha in the hearts of Thai people in the country. It is a rare national treasure.

The Jade Buddha Temple is famous for its three characteristics, architectural decoration, and cloister murals. The main buildings include Jade Buddha Hall, Xintian Pavilion, Bell Tower, Tibetan Scripture Hall, Xianwang Hall, Buddha Bone Hall, Rattana Shwedagon Pagoda, Tibetan Scripture Hall, steeple-topped Buddha Hall, and ashes hall. In the courtyard, there are stupas standing like forests, with various shapes and bright colors, which are very spectacular.

What is interesting is that there is a model of Angkor Wat at the entrance of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It is located to the north of the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion. It is the collection of King Rama III of Thailand. Because it was during the Cambodian Khmer Empire, the two places often exchanged cultures and there are many things in common between the two places.
